Robin Farmer

Adapted from her own screenplay, MALCOLM AND ME, Robin Farmer’s debut novel, is a 2021 Eric Hoffer Grand Prize Short List finalist, a 2021 Human Relations Children's Indie Book Award Gold Winner, a 2021 Library of Virginia Literary Award nominee, and a 2022 YAVA Award nominee. Robin won the 2019 She Writes Press and SparkPress Toward Equality in Publishing (STEP) Contest. A national award-winning journalist, her narrative and investigative projects for the Richmond Times-Dispatch earned her a Knight-Wallace Fellowship at the University of Michigan, among other honors. She is a recipient of residencies at the Rowland Writers Retreat, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Djerassi Resident Artists Program. Director of the Virginia Screenwriters Forum, she is a member of James River Writers. She lives near Richmond with her husband and is writing her second novel.
