I grew up in a bustling home as the third of six children. I cultivated my imagination by spending countless hours roaming through the 180 acres of beautiful rolling woods on the family farm in Northwestern Michigan. My mother, an elementary school teacher, instilled in me a love of reading early on.
My diverse background as a roughneck on oil rigs, carpenter, waiter, bus driver, model, and college professor has given me a unique perspective that comes through in my writing. I have been inspired by the writings of Maeve Binchy, Ken Bruen, William P. Young, and Patrick Taylor.
I currently live in beautiful Northwestern Michigan with my wife, Theresa. We enjoy spoiling our 11 grandchildren and traveling.
