New for 2026

New Awards and Categories in 2026

Each year we listen to our writing community and add award ideas that are popular.

So, we're excited to share what we have NEW for 2026 Page Turner Awards!

A new dedicated Non-Fiction award, True Story Award, new categories, and a Book Doctor Masterclass ~ it's all here.

Non-Fiction Book Award

To complement our popular six-year Book Award, we've now split fiction and non-fiction into separate awards.

The Non-Fiction Award celebrates specialist and expert writers with dedicated sub-categories and judging criteria tailored to non-fiction excellence.

Please all details for both fiction and non-fiction book awards.

True Story Award

From memoirs and biographies to true crime and survival stories, we're launching a dedicated True Story Award for published books, unpublished manuscripts, and screenplays.

Whether your story is 100% true, based on true events, or inspired by real life, this award celebrates the power of authentic storytelling across all formats.
