Sean Campbell is judging the Writing Award and searching for a writer to publish! He is the founder and editor of époque press, an independent publisher of literary fiction. Their books include The Wooden Hill by Jamie Guiney, shortlisted for the Saboteur award 2019 Best Collection of Short Stories.
The press was established in 2018 and since then époque press has published five novels by debut authors. They have another four titles scheduled for publication in 2021 and are looking to continue to grow their list whilst seeking out and working with exciting new authors.
In addition to the main imprint, époque press also hosts a regular online é-zine which features work in many different mediums; ranging from poetry, short stories, spoken word, music, visual art, animation and even short films.
As a publisher, Sean is responsible for discovering new voices and championing great new works of literary fiction. He is looking to work with authors who have a strong and unique voice, those who are not afraid to be different and who have a narrative flair that will engage the reader.
I can't wait to read through the submissions and find those powerful literary narratives and unique voices that will jump out and grab my attention.
Sean loves building close working relationships with authors and engaging them in every stage of bringing their work to publication. You can find out more about Sean at époque press
