Tammy Letherer, a Chicago author and writing coach, is judging the Page Turner Writing Award hoping to discover talented writers.
She has a long and varied professional writing career. After earning a degree in journalism from Indiana University, she began as a copywriter, marketing things like Big Macs, dog food, and Jim Beam whiskey, before trading tag lines for full-length manuscripts.
Her latest book, The Buddha at My Table, is an award-winning memoir that was named the 2019 Book of the Year by the Chicago Writers Association.

She works as a developmental editor for Atmosphere Press and is currently writing her second novel.
