Teri Ecker Ecker

As a teacher, and voracious reader, I have dreamed of writing educational books for children for many years. I also have a long history of volunteer work with nonprofit literacy organizations. When I decided to complete Queen Bee’s Alphabet Cookbook, I enlisted help from my beautiful and talented daughter-in-law who is a Registered Dietitian. She has experience in working with nonprofits in elementary schools setting up gardens and teaching nutrition to children and was the perfect choice to make sure all the nutrition guidance was current. Our shared goal was to share the experience of creating a book we felt could help change lives for the better, and make it an opportunity for us to continue supporting the nonprofits we want to help.
