Brendan Gill is one of the most unique and hard-hitting writers in Ireland today, his short stories have been shortlisted for the Michael McLaverty Award, The Seán O’Faolain Prize and The Fish Short Story Competition.
Brendan’s most recent novel ‘The Fall of El Pantera’ excited much interest at the 2019 Frankfurt Book Fair and is currently with publishers. Presently he is writing his second novel, ‘The Cure For Absolutely Everything’, a dystopian work of fiction.
‘S’ is for Sold, his first collection of short stories will be ready for publication in 2020.
Brendan holds a H.Dip Ed, a B.A. and an M.A. and works as a teacher of English and History in an Adult Education Centre in Dundalk. He lives with his wife and two sons near the Northern Irish border in County Down, within shouting distance of two beautiful and majestic mountains, Annaverna and Slieve Gullion.
