Wonderful to be part of such an exciting and amazing collection of talent. Best wishes to all of you. Win or not the buzz is great and the awards ceremony last year was absolutely worth it. Hope you are all, like me, enjoying the moment.

Never thought my NaNoWriMo project would make it this far; quite a nice surprise to start the day off with.

Well done to all. Finishing a book (whether it does well or not) is not small task. Hopefully this competition will give the winning author the push their book needs to get a great story out into the world.

For the people of this world could use a good story to read right now; one where they can leave the issues of the present day behind.

Congratulations to all the finalists, but more so to everyone who entered! To have our work read and reviewed by such a great collection of judges is a wonderful opportunity! Good luck to everyone in their writing endeavors!

...almost.

Thank you to Paula, Ken, and the whole team at Page Turner Awards.  Thank you to the readers and judges for taking time out of your hectic lives to read our work.

To think five years ago when I began Wilderness wanting to convey the sublime beauty of my adopted land of Alaska and the generosity of spirit of Alaskans and my fear that with greed and climate change it would all be lost it would culminate with your acclaim.

How wonderful it is to be amongst such a talented group of creators.  I'm humbled and honored to be selected and wish you all the best of luck moving forward!

I was so excited to be a finalist, I didn't look down the entire list until today. Then discovered BOTH my entries were in the finals. Mega brilliant.

Congrats to all and best of luck!

Congratulations to all of the finalists! Beyond honored to be a finalist among such talented writers. Best of luck and, regardless of the results, I can't wait for all of our work to get out in the world.

And to the Page Turner Team and Judges, thank you a million times over!

I am so honored to have my script, RED AS RED HAIR, in the longlist for the screenplay competition. I've read the bios of everyone on here and, wow, what an impressive group of talent from all over the world! Really glad to know about all of your projects and what comes next for us all! Cheers to us all!

It really takes a great deal of courage to put 'a baby' out on view for consideration, but in the literary world competitions are the only toe in a door for new writers. There have been some great works to read, those that were open to more than just judges and I am very honoured to have made it to the last 190 odd in my category alongside you. Very best wishes to those who have made it through to the final 10.

I am totally thilled to share a platform with some great writers, I read some of the biographies of people on here and I am absolutely flabbergasted with the talent on here. I never thought my script would get as far as this. Well done everyone and the best of luck to you all! If anybody wants to drop me a line my website is on www.ironstonefilms.com (my submission was 'The Robert Taylor Incident').
