Recent widower Jack is lonely and depressed, he's let himself go. So, when he has a stroke, in his mind there's not much left for him to live for. His sister Daisy has other ideas and gives him a dog to cheer him up. Jack isn't impressed and vows to get the mutt removed before he pops his clogs.
