Logline

As a corrupted man strives to eradicate a race of superhumans, one of them is forced to gather a team of her kind to defend their tribe and honour.

Characters

Clea – A geneticist with the power of pain illusion. She is also the only Anointed One in the group who can locate those who are in danger, through her heart gem. She met Elise in high school, where they bonded over their powers.

Elise – A fashion designer and Clea’s best friend from high school. She is able shoot daggers out from her claw-like fingernails. She is also a master acrobat trained in aerial silks.

Garret – A young man with the power to manipulate water. Prior to meeting Clea, he never realised other Anointed Ones existed.

Amira – A hijra from India. She can produce and manipulate the fire she produces from her body.

Onyx – A woman who can manipulate metal.

Kezia – A woman who can manipulate earth and plants.

Shayda – A woman who is trained in martial arts and katana combat. She can also create portals from the fragment of her heart gem embedded in her forehead.

Aamon Clancy/Dr Aamon – A corrupt man who is hellbent on destroying The Anointed Ones

Act 1

HOSPITAL - During an ultrasound scan, Clea and the other Anointed Ones are revealed to possess a glowing yellow gem in place of their hearts. This is what provides them with their respective powers.

HIGH SCHOOL – Clea uses her powers of pain illusion to defend a shy student from a bully. Elise warns her they could get caught. In a flashback,

GRASSY FIELD - Aamon Clancy’s plan to destroy The Anointed Ones is revealed.

Act 2

CITY STREET - In disguise, Elise scouts out Aamon late at night. She gathers clearer identifiers to spot him with, as well as one of the vials Aamon dropped when Elise scratched him. Later, Clea uses her powers again to defend a homeless man from a group of teenage bullies. She reconnects with Jared, the barista she met in the coffee shop across the road.

CLEA’S BASEMENT - Blindfolded, Clea attempts to find other Anointed Ones throughout the world using her power. We see each of the 3 Anointed Ones she finds.

COFFEE SHOP - Clea meets Garret in a coffee shop, when he uses his power when he thinks no one is looking. Garret is shocked when he discovers that other Anointed Ones exist. Later, Clea meets the barista, Jared, working there.

CLIFF EDGE - Clea, Elise, and Garret go to meet with Shayda, another Anointed One Clea found, to return her power to her.

SLOANE SQUARE - The group locates Kezia with the help of both Clea and Shayda. Meanwhile, Elise and Garret travel to Aamon’s lair to retrieve the correct vials. The Saviours are spotted for the first time.

Aamon Clancy’s origin story is revealed through a series of flashbacks.

SAVIOURS’ CONFERENCE ROOM - In order to get Onyx’s vial, the group selects a few of them to travel to Aamon’s lair. A fight ensues with some of The Saviours. Later the Saviours hold a meeting. Aamon presents Shayda as a target. One of them captures Shayda and brings her to their conference room.

FASHION STUDIO - In her fashion studio, Elise practices her projectile throwing on one of her mannequins after a telepathic threat from Aamon.

Act 3

SAVIOURS’ CONFERENCE ROOM - The group fights The Saviours and manages to rescue Shayda.

CLIFF EDGE - Shayda hones her combat skills no that her powers are weaker from The Saviours’ torture.

LONDON LIVERPOOL STREET STATION - The group fights Aamon along with a group of Saviours. Aamon manages to extract and destroy Clea’s heart gem. Clea becomes instantly withered.

CONVERTED WAREHOUSE - 1 year later, Clea is wheeled into a converted warehouse by Elise. Each member of the group is now a mentor in their respective fields. Their students spare together one-on-one. Clea gives a speech to the students about resilience. We see a montage of several of the action-packed events throughout the film as she delivers the speech.
