The Road to St. Stephen's Abbey -- BELOW:

The Road to St. Stephen's Abbey reveals that actions, re-actions and events from the past flow together like streams and rivers to expose future facts. Mars Davenport says: "Sometimes, something that looks right is wrong and sometimes, something that looks wrong isn't the evil that you think it is.

"How long does it take for the Truth of a situation to be exposed?

In this Cosy Mystery, Brother Sebastian keeps a prayer vigil for years, waiting for the right time and the right person to reveal a truth that has been hidden in plain sight. JJ is that "right person".

While investigating the disappearance of the renowned author, Wilton T. Chesterfield, JJ, an award-winning reporter, uncovers the secrets of St. Stephen's Abbey, the mystery of Forever Forest and the intriguing, historical past of Spring Valley.

Bentley Nelson has plans to build a Sport Complex in Spring Valley, but Wilton T. Chesterfield has plans to protect the village property from being destroyed. Thrust into the middle of this conflict, JJ encounters events and individuals that challenge her fact-driven personality.

In researching "The Barrel Factory Fire", JJ finds evidence of a cover-up that involves St. Stephen's Abbey. With the help of the Abbey's Grave Digger and a tongueless man, JJ traces events that lead up to Wilton T. Chesterfields disappearance. The past is giving JJ the answers that she needs to solve a series of crimes.

In the end, the truth is revealed. Questions have been answered. A story has been told, but a new story begins with Brother Joseph.

BROTHER JOSEPH
(speaking to himself in a whisper)
He said I had to tell his story. He said that when the time was right, someone else would tell my story. I didn't understand. But, today, when I looked at JJ staring at you, I knew his words were true.

Brother Joseph watches as Jack turns and disappears into Forever Forest.

BROTHER JOSEPH
(speaking to himself in a whisper)
You are my story. What happened to you? I will hold you in prayer. I will commit myself to trust the "Seven Pillars of Truth" until all is revealed and explained. I will ask for justice on your behalf.
