John Munn

John Munn is a native of Washington State and is married to his wife of over fifteen years who inspires him to write every day. His two boys, Jack and Max, are his world. He has also lived in the United Kingdom, for a short period, where he studied literature and attended college at the University of LaVerne in California where he pursued a degree in Business and Communication. He is currently studying for his Bachelor's Degree in Writing for Film & Television at the Los Angeles Film School also in California.

His grandfather was the award-winning fantasy author H. Warner Munn and John shares his passion for writing every day and the research that allows him "think outside of the box." Raised to appreciate constructive criticism, he also thrives on the thrill of collaboration.

Since entering his first competition in October of 2021, John's Screenplays have received 150 AWARDS and NOMINATIONS including:

FINAL DRAFT "Big Break" Competition, the PAGE INTERNATIONAL AWARDS, the BRITISH HORROR AWARDS, EMERGING SCREENWRITERS (Fantasy, Suspense & Horror), the ISA "Fast Track" FELLOWSHIP, and the Annual "Grand Jury Award" for "Best Writer" at the L.A. SCI-FI FILM FESTIVAL.
