When not writing, Austin is an engineer for a nuclear plant, where most days seem no different than stocking shelves at Costco. In the last two years, Austin's screenplays: CAR HEROIN TRAIN, HER SEVENTH DEATH, WILLIAM THE II, and TAMING HOLDEN CAULFIELD have garnered over 75 nominations in film festivals across North America, Europe, and Asia. That's it. That's all I have besides a small press publication of a novel I wrote a while back and a short story in some London magazine or compilation.

Oh, Virginia Austin is a pseudonym derived from the middle names of my parents, who died when I was quite young.
