Robert Buscemi writes features and pilots that fall squarely in the indie drama, comedy and dramedy traditions, with a knack for strong female characters. His two first feature scripts, MAMMOTH and SUNDOWNERS, have each scored placements in multiple top screenwriting competitions and earned strong reviews on The Blacklist. Buscemi has most recently been tapped by a well known Hollywood screen and TV actor to collaborate on a supernatural comedy feature (stay tuned!). He has himself acted widely in TV and film, including on Grace & Frankie, General Hospital, Snowfall, Ray Donovan, in a forthcoming wide-release Anna Nicole Smith biopic, and in a massively popular holiday short as Head Elf opposite Steve Carrell as Santa. Buscemi has also made two stand-up albums and was named “Best Stand-Up” by The Chicago Reader.
