Ian Tucker

Ian writes whodunit mysteries and occasional dry humour mostly featuring J Hamilton Ross.  His short stories have featured in a number of anthologies and competition short lists.  He writes mostly for his own entertainment with the objective of being entertaining to others.

His influential authors include Philip Kerr, PG Wodehouse, Ian Sansom and Martha Wells because each has style and great control of language, although in very disparate ways.

Award Type
As environmentalists, fascists, kleptomanic church members and middle class ladies clash over their beliefs and self interest, obsessively independent Hamilton Ross is sucked in to an escalating series of assaults, robbery, arson and kidnap which he'd prefer left him alone.
