Alex Johnson

Alex Johnson has enjoyed a passion for history, anthropology, and mythology from a young age. He believes that an ontological study of stories and mythology can help orient oneself as part of the universal history of humanity. Alex obtained a bachelor's degree in History from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2020 and now works on a sustainable farm near his Bay Area home.

When Alex is not working, going to the gym, or watching soccer, he works to complete a historical fiction novel set during World War Two and based on true events. A voracious reader of classics and literary and genre fiction, Alex's favorite authors include Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Cormac McCarthy, Gene Wolfe, and Hunter S. Thompson.

In the Autumn of 1939, the Mueller family must escape persecution in Soviet-occupied Poland. Caught at the border to Germany, husband, wife, and children are separated from one another but never lose hope of finding their way back to each other amid the chaos and confusion of World War 2.
