Born and raised in Seattle, Frannie James is a personable and knowledgeable creative with 15+ years of professional experience gained in copywriting/content roles. She has finished her first novel, inspired by experiences in the Emerald City during her 20s (a.k.a. the “tail end” of coming-of-age). At that time, her hometown was also coming of age—so eventually, Frannie saw this as a great parallel—and excellent book fodder. In her own words:
“I had to write this story, because I lived—and will always treasure—this story! The book encapsulates a precious time in my life; a time that also held many lessons. I especially wanted to "preserve" the tale for my nieces—and to capture a Seattle that no longer exists; to "put" it somewhere safe.
When she’s not working/writing, Frannie loves to spend time with her favorite humans (the nieces), ages 21 and 12. She also enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, traveling, watching movies … and is currently at work on her next novel.

A very interesting take on a 90's novel! It delivers a fresh, different, perspective. I'd encourage the author to build out further the physical characteristics of Joann and the hotel to create additional depth to wrap around the well-paced conversations.
