Jon Addison

Jon has a particular love of the crime, thriller, and horror genres. He currently has a portfolio of three features and one TV-pilot script, with another pilot in the works. Jon Addison uses his challenging childhood and early life experiences of paranoia to explore messy, complex characters navigating identity, trauma, and this crazy world we live in.

Neurodiverse and hailing from a tiny rural town, Jon writes from the working poor’s perspective to tell thrilling stories of struggling souls. After escaping his hometown, Jon worked as a 1st AD and editor for five years. He then went on to write and produce his debut short-thriller, Property. Since then, Jon has built up editorial experience through script reading and script editing, all the while developing a diverse body of screenplays.
