I'm not just saying this because I made it to the shortlist for my category, but I have really enjoyed being part of this competition. There was great communication throughout from the organisers, so we always knew exactly what was happening, what was going to happen, and when, including updates on any change of plan or delay. It was so exciting as the competition progressed and the results of the various judging stages were announced. I loved reading all the other entries, and was absolutely blown away when my book started making it through. I am so glad I randomly came across Page Turners online and decided to enter. Getting as far as I have in this competition has been not only amazing to me but also has given me encouragement to go back and finish my second book, which I don't think I would have done otherwise.
