Hello, I am Adam Newton, budding author with an all-round creative mind. I am currently 33 years old and live in Bracknell, Berkshire, with my wife and baby daughter. I have currently written three novels, which are:
The Ghost Train Demon - a self published horror short story aimed at young adults, about a group of boys who experience the abnormal while riding a carnival ghost train ride, and unleash a sleeping demon into the world.
The Eternal Conflict - A sci-fi conflict epic that sees Star Wars meeting Call of Duty, where the actions of ordinary soldiers and pilots help to end a centuries long stalemate between three warring factions, and bring peace to a ruined galaxy. Still to be published.
Journal of a Spice Merchant - A casual-paced, first hand Sci-fi adventure following the everyday life-among-the-stars of Elionel Durrick, who slowly gets dragged into a foreign war he tried so hard to avoid. Along the way, he encounters Jezenne, who slowly turns from captor to lover and co-pilot under Elionel's tuition, and must survive brutal interrogation, a murder enquiry, the deadly hazards of space travel, and the extreme elements of a planet's collapsing atmosphere while responding to a distress call. Yet to be published, the sequels are currently being written, and split into two separate books following the adventures of both Elionel and Jezenne after they get separated at the end of the first book.
Along with these books, other writing credits to my name include a few articles written for small-time RAF publications.
Along with my writing I also pursue other creative hobbies, including model making, watercolour and acrylic painting - including creating my own book covers - as well as designing starships, weapons and vehicles for various fictional projects, or just whatever comes to mind.
