Christian, retired schoolteacher, author, and glamper: these words could describe April Coker. She has been writing since she was ten years old and taught high school English, science, and did credit recovery for at-risk students for 30 years. She now enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren, talking and cuddling with her Boston terrier Stella, helping at church, camping with other women, thrift shopping, and writing.
She is the author of I'm Dreaming of a Black Christmas: A Holiday Survival Guide (a humorous guide to saving money during the holidays), Night Keeper, The Keeper, Keeper II: The Storm, and the upcoming Keeper III: Blackout. The Keeper books are a Christian romantic suspense series which centers around a group of zookeepers who work nights and must deal with strange occurrences at the zoo.
An award-winning author, April was recently invited to join the Underground Authors, a group of fifteen writers who have penned The Magnolia Bluff Crime Chronicles, a mystery series. She has written two cozy mystery novels for the series: Just Dying to Glamp and Murder, She Glamped.
April writes because, as she says, she can't not write. It is in her soul. Her books are available at Amazon or can be ordered directly from her at aprilnunncoker.com, where readers can also find a link to her blog and sign up for her newsletter.
