I am Rebecca Whitehall, I worked as an early childhood teacher in Las Vegas, USA, for 25 years. During those years it was my delight to work primarily with second language children. Noptanot, a Thai student, especially brought back special childhood memories of my family living in Thailand. The cultural differences were so apparent even at a young age. What I treasured the most from those years were the relationships I developed and still carry with me to this day.
Now I live in England writing books that help children explore the beauty and power they hold within. My husband and I love to go on long walks in the countryside with our dog Zac, the star of several of my picture books.
