Andrew Devereux is a freelance musician, small business owner and writer. He has played music all over the world and currently holds the position of bass trombone player with the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra and Sinfonia of Birmingham. Andrew runs a web design company during the day and writes between 6 and 9am.
During 2021 he started a project to write a novel linking the shocking and little known stories of the orchestras of Berlin and Leningrad during WWII. THE SEVENTH is a story of moral dilemma, courage in the face of war and most of all, love.
Married to Sarah who is a flautist and music teacher, he lives in Cumbria in the north of England.
