Ankit Gupta is a young passionate Author and a TEDx speaker based in London, United Kingdom. He is a Certified Financial Specialist, accredited by Financial Planning Standards Board, USA, currently recognized globally in 27 countries.
Ankit is extremely passionate about Personal Finance and that is why, even after serving Merchant Navy as a Marine Engineer for over 10 years, he pursued to learn Financial Planning. He currently holds the Specialist Certification in Risk and Estate Planning, Retirement and Tax Planning & Investment Planning.
Born in a humble middle-class family in Punjab, Ankit was always a bright student. After schooling, he graduated in Marine Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani), one of the top Universities in India.
Ankit is a Cricket enthusiast and also loves to explore new places and meet new people. From spending initial 17 years in Arunachal Pradesh, the extreme north-eastern state of India to now having already been to more than 50 countries in the World, he has traveled a lot mostly across the Oceans.
Ankit is on a mission to help 1 Million people unfollow Mediocrity by imparting his knowledge, skills, and experience on developing the Rich Mindset and implementation of Money Management concepts. He firmly believes that Mediocrity is the worst enemy of Prosperity.
Having devoted a considerable part of his life to understanding the deeper concepts of Investor Mindset and Psychology of Money, Ankit then focussed on writing this Book titled "Mind Your Book", which can be easily read and understood by anyone. He claims that this book is going to change the perspective of people towards Money.
