Fulfilling a long-held ambition to become a children’s author, I am currently working on a collection of mystery/fantasy/adventure novels for 8-12+ through to YA. Each consisting of a stand-alone, literary-themed tale in their own right, feature the continuing exciting, nail-biting character building missions of self-discovery for shy, 12-year-old bookworm, Alfie Tucker. The first in my self-published Lexicon series is The Librarius Quest (first published in 2012 and then updated and republished February 2020), the second, The Curse of The Bletherwytch, followed in November 2015 and the third in the series, The Witch's Blood, released in 2019. I have also just completed the first draft of the fourth and final book to round off the series, so have a lot of work ahead of me in the coming months. A busy grandmother, I have a very critical audience close to home not afraid to express their opinions of my writings and the tales I love to tell!
