I am a Mancunian psychotherapist turned author. My first book ‘Her Sister’s Shadow’ was published by Northodox Press in 2021. It’s a psychological thriller about a Manchester detective who has some unresolved issues around the death of her sister. I have worked in mental health for many years and although I have retired from psychotherapy, it informs a lot of my writing. I love to read dark psychological thrillers and my favourite book is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. I have two British Blue Cats called Jake and Ellwood ( after the blues brothers). I confess to posting far too many pictures of them on Twitter.
