After a lengthy career in the graphic arts business in the Chicago area, as a graphic designer, color analyst, and illustrator for various publishing and printing companies, I turned to writing. During research on the history of the French frigate la Renommée for over a decade, I concluded the fascinating story of the ship’s historical characters demanded to be chronicled. The first historical nautical novel of the Tween Sea & Shore Series was published by FireShip Press in 2019. The next book in the series, Captains of the Renown, is currently in production at FireShip Press and will be released in April 2021.
