Having grown up in the Robert Burns country of Ayrshire, and having worked and lived in Culzean Castle and Haworth, Yorkshire, I have found myself in surroundings both inspiring and directly connected to classic literature. My passion, ever since childhood, became the creating of fictional little worlds inhabited by fanciful characters connected by colourful lore, and it didn't take long before I wished to leave a mark on the world of writing myself.
Recently I have finished work on a full-length novel, and am excited to see whether it is worthy of publication or how it could be further improved. Between redrafts and rewrites, I have kept at my craft through writing several short-stories (which have recently attracted a little attention, having been selected for publication by Monnath Books and Fantastic Books Publishing), and by crafting frame-work and world-building for future books set in the world of my full-length work. Or, at least, just for the passion of it!
