By day Deborah is a special needs teaching assistant, by night she is an enthusiastic author. Her writing started out with YA fantasy and pony stories, then as her children became adults and went into the world of film she discovered a love of writing screenplays. Deborah draws a lot on her life experiences, which include the five years she lived in Canada and being a single parent.
'Spirits of Christmas' was Deborah's first screenplay, but not the last. Her new action and adventure is well on its way with the first draft just completed.
To relax and take her mind off the stresses of life Deborah is found at the stables where she keeps her horse Tom.
Going forward Deborah plans to keep writing screenplays and finish off her pony series. Her dream one day is to be represented by a manager and supplement her income with her writing.
