Thank you for considering Deena Undone for a 2024 Page Turner Award. I am an author of horror, thrillers, and stories that make the heart beat fast. Deena Undone is my debut novel and will be published by Woodhall Press. It has won multiple awards, most notably an American Fiction Award for BEST HORROR OF 2024, an Independent Author Award for BEST HORROR and BEST DEBUT across all genres, and a Storytrade Book Award for BEST HORROR. It was also a finalist in the 2024 International Book Awards and was shortlisted for a 2024 Hawthorne Prize. Deena Undone is slated for a Spanish edition to be released by Dilatando Mentes in 2025. My short stories have appeared in various literary magazines, as well as in soon-to-be published anthologies by Fairfield Scribes, Penumbra, and Hippocampus Press.
While I've written all my life, I come from a diverse background of opera and business, both of which have informed my work. I live amongst the rolling hills and pastures of Upstate New York with my husband and quirky cattle dog, Bad Dog Bob, where I endlessly strive to write one perfectly balanced sentence.
