After gaining a degree in Physics and a reputation at snooker, Dominic travelled to West Africa to teach at a secondary school in Sierra Leone. He returned two years later as a ‘blow in’ to Yorkshire and followed a career in IT.
On retiring, he wrote over fifty short stories, a TV pilot script and a full-length historical novel. Room 40 features real characters and events based on the Admiralty’s renowned code-breaking department set up at the beginning of WWI.
