Starting off my journey with a middle-grade novel, Phil’s Adventures in Sri Lanka, published in France in 2005 (still in print), writing picture books gives a voice to my inner child. An award-winning copywriter, advertising taught me the power of bare language and visual thinking. Currently transitioning into freelancing as an author and screenwriter, my credits include a feature screenplay recently optioned by a French production company, which was a laureate of the 2023 Film Fund Luxembourg writing grant, also long-listed by the Funny Women Writing Award 2025 in the UK, and by the Courage to Write grants in the US in 2024. My previous 30-minute comedy was the winner of the Act Bedford and Content Created 2022 competition and broadcast as a radio play in the UK. Founder of a creative collective called Lifting The Rock on Substack in 2025, I have been the SCBWI Regional Advisor for the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg (BENELUX) since 2021, and also volunteer as an Elf at 12x12Challenge.
