Janice Spina aka J.E. Spina is an award-winning author with 45 published books. She has been writing since she was a young child of nine in the form of poetry. She branched out to children’s books and novels in her twenties and hasn’t stopped since.
She writes under Janice Spina for children’s, MG/PT and YA books. Her husband, John, is her illustrator and cover creator. Together they have created 22 illustrated children’s books for PS-Grade 3-, and twelve-chapter books for MG/PT to enjoy that have received many awards. Writing under J.E. Spina, she has created eight novels and two YA fantasy adventures.
Janice hopes to continue to provide entertaining reading for as long as her muse keeps her filled with stories to share. Her goal is to encourage children of all ages to read daily to spark their imagination, heighten their creativity, lift their spirits, increase their vocabulary, open up a whole new world to them, enhance their health and wellbeing, and create lovers of reading who will be the generation of readers and thinkers of tomorrow.
