Jason Tostevin

Jason is a writer and filmmaker best known for his short genre work, which has been awarded and screened around the world and featured in outlets from Short of the Week to The New York Times. In addition to his creative work, he is popular indie film advocate, called "a kind of indie prophet" by film site Cinema Runner and known for his film festival education series "#BetterFesting." He is the director of top-ranked genre fest Nightmares Film Festival and a member of the board of the Transgender Film Center. By day, he leads the creative department for a North American agency from his home in Central Ohio, where he lives with his wife, their two fiercely independent queer kids, and their pound puppy, Milo.
