Jen Elliott

As a writer of speculative fiction, I like to weave a magical web over the fabric of our reality. From a desire to be a writer from the age of nine, and an uneducated attempt at the age of 18 which resulted in a lack of confidence, I finally got serious about writing when the idea for my debut novel struck in my late forties. Embarking on a great deal of learning whilst writing my first draft, once 2020 hit, I was fortunate enough to have time at home to really focus and get the whole story out. Now, at 51 years old, I have a story I am proud of with The Energy Keepers.

I live in a small village, close to where I grew up, with my teenage son and cat and we are expecting our new puppy this summer. I earn my living as an all-encompassing administrator at an angling club. A place which is full of characters, some more challenging than others.
