I’ve written plays for many of Scotland’s youth theatres including the Royal Lyceum. Having worked professionally as an actor for many years, including three years on a soap, I have an insight into the contradiction between the unglamorous reality and manufactured public image, which struck me as a rich starting point for Flora’s journey.
