Joann Keder spent her formative years (forty-seven, to be exact) on the prairie of Nebraska. She worked for sixteen years as a piano teacher before returning to school to receive a masters degree in creative writing. A mid-life move to the Pacific Northwest lead her to re-examine her priorities and heed her desire to write. She loves creating stories about small towns and the unique people who inhabit them.
