Growing up in the midwest, Jeff Knoblauch had always been drawn to science fiction. From comic books to great authors like Ray Bradbury and Arthur C. Clarke to movies and TV like Star Trek he was bitten by the wonderment of the cosmos. But it was not until late in life that Jeff decided to write about that wonderment.
It took two years to write his first novel, The Journey of Atlantis: Leaving Home. Experiencing the gauntlet of self-publishing and learning the things writers learn that has nothing to do with writing was a little bit of a shock. Jeff is about to publish his third novel in the Atlantis series and is a more seasoned writer and enjoying the places where this takes him.
Nearing retirement, Mr. Knoblauch is looking forward to spending more time enjoying his writing and his readership. Taking more walks in the neighborhood with his wife and lab is nice too.
