John Rose

Sijun Cui (he/him) is an Australian writer based in Melbourne. As a poet, he has written over 1,700 poems and is the author of “Treatise on Poetry.” His body of work also includes a short story, a novel, and two screenplays.

His academic interests span philosophy, cosmology, theoretical physics, religion, history, and sociology. He has published his reflections on various platforms, including works such as “Fundamental Questions of Philosophy,” “My Perception of Imperfectionism,” “Cosmic Models and Cosmic Philosophy,” and “Theory of Time.” In addition, he has written numerous essays, including “A Brief Discussion on Terrorism” and “What Is Wisdom?” With wide-ranging interests and a deep love for learning, he finds joy in thinking and writing. To him, writing is a path of discovery—shaping reflections on life, faith, and humanity into words that enlighten, inspire, and connect.

Many years ago, he devoted considerable time to an in-depth study of the Bible and Buddhist scriptures. This spiritual and intellectual journey laid the foundation for his creative works and continues to inspire them. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, watching films, and playing badminton.
