JONATHAN GRUPPER has served as Executive Producer, Co-EP and /or Showrunner on successful series for CNN, National Geographic, Investigation Discovery, Oxygen, History Channel, Discovery Channel, PBS and other major outlets worldwide. He is Executive Producer of multiple video and audio installations for The History Channel, including at the New York Historical Society, and the permanent exhibit at the Ellis Island Museum. He has written six children's books for National Geographic; six syndicated planetarium shows; more than 50 shows for National Geographic Explorer; and multiple episodes of NOVA and Nature. He has served as Supervising Writer and Supervising Producer for National Geographic Television.

His programs have been awarded the Gold Special Jury at World Fest-Houston, Gold at the US International Film & Video Festival, Silver at WorldFest-Flagstaff, a Cine Golden Eagle Award, and a Telly Award. Programs he's worked on have received ten Emmy nominations, including three for himself.

Jonathan Grupper teaches Dramatic Screenwriting at NYU's School of Professional Studies.
