I am an author of three novels, all published by Matador, with a fourth to be published later this year.
I spent over 25 years as a writer of short fiction for women's commercial magazines and was published extensively in the UK and internationally.
Completing an M.A. in Creative Writing with distinction, I began to write longer fiction and have spent the past 10 years writing novels.
My genre is literary/commercial crossover/ character driven fiction and my novels have proved popular with book groups, providing potential for discussion. I set my novels in the recent past - the latter decades of the 20th century and the opening decade of the 21st.
I enjoy visiting groups and discussing my writing as well as my reading and also from time to time lead creative writing sessions.
