Julie Sullivan is an experienced writer, editor and researcher, with work published in Wired, WebReview.com and Ms.Money.com. Having earned an MFA in Creative Writing and a doctorate in International and Multicultural Education, she currently teaches at the University of San Francisco, and writes whenever she can (some days more than others--because she is human)(though she'd rather be Captain Marvel). She is a somewhat religious Red Sox fan, avid hiker, and lover of cheese and chocolate, as well as dogs and cats (why choose?!) She lives in the SF Bay area with her very understanding partner, two equally-patient kids, two not-at-all-patient dogs and an occasionally tolerant cat. (There was a gecko in the mix, but we don't talk about her.) She aims to write and publish more fiction, especially for younger audiences.
