Katherine Black was born and raised in Texas but has spent most of her life in England. Her background is in art history. She spent years working for arts charities before leaving it all behind for the glamourous life of a stay-at-home mum. Now that the children are getting older, she's pursuing her dream of writing. Katherine recently completed with Distinction an MA in Creative Writing (Crime Fiction) at the University of East Anglia. Her first novel, No Fouler Fiend, came third in the 2021 Yeovil Literary Prize Novel Category. Her second novel, Lufkin, Texas, was longlisted for the Crime Writers Association's Debut Dagger award. Katherine is a lover of travel, art, good food and eccentric people.
