I am a Russian historian by profession and I work as a University Teacher at the Centre for History at the University of the Highlands and Islands. I have published two history monographs: one on the women of Lenin's family and one on family networks in the Russian Revolution. Lately I have turned my hand to fiction writing, publishing my first novel, Blackbird's Song, with Stairwell Books in April 2021. I live in the Cairngorms National Park with my husband and two sons.
