I have been an avid reader since my elementary years, and that was a long time ago! I believe that in order to be able to write in a way which will attract and interest readers, one must be a reader first. However, not all readers have the patience and ability to write which I found out throughout my lifetime. I had so many great ideas for the "perfect murder" or the "perfect crime"' or "perfect love story" but lacked the skills to turn my ideas into a book, until now. I wrote Prison Baby with the characters based on people I had known and many of their experiences were, again, based on my own. I found this made writing much easier and more enjoyable!
