Line Rainville

Line Rainville and Franco Pirrone are creative partners with a shared commitment to storytelling that champions diversity, inclusivity, and social awareness. Their backgrounds blend international experiences, distinct cultural identities, and a passion for science fiction, bringing unique perspectives to their collaborative work.

Line is an experienced screenwriter and creative writer with training from Cinecours, the Ottawa School of Writing, Telefilm Canada, and the National Image and Sound Institution. She draws on her multicultural heritage, writing fluently in French, Italian, and Atikamekw, an Indigenous dialect. Her goal is to create narratives that entertain, foster understanding, and promote strong, positive values for humanity’s future.

Franco, an Italian software developer and martial artist, is equally dedicated to these ideals. A lifelong sci-fi enthusiast, he grew up during the golden age of classic science fiction and is inspired by technology and space exploration. As the founder of his own software company, he brings technical depth to their projects, complementing Line’s storytelling approach.

Together, Line and Franco have co-authored Meteor, the pilot episode for Promethium 2122, which has received significant industry recognition. Their partnership continues to evolve, with several exciting projects in development that push the boundaries of the sci-fi genre while highlighting the human spirit and the potential of an inclusive future.
