Lisa Richardson

I am a self-published author of literary fiction, based in Cambridgeshire, England. An avid reader and writer of fiction which tackles issues that are questioning and real. I take particular interest in topics relating to the human condition. What makes us who we are? How important are the tiny moments in life that we miss if we are not looking? Emotions, events, life and strangers. I love nothing more than examining how the smallest period of time, an unexpected encounter or unknown human being, can change everything that follows.

My writing career began in 2019 when the initial concept of my debut novel came to be knocking repeatedly at my door. The idea never left me and thanks to those such as Elizabeth Gilbert and Gail Honeyman, I gave flesh to the thoughts. I'm now working on my second novel, alongside a day job, a family and a love of dungarees...
