Lisa Barker is an indie author from California. Her debut novel, Inheritance, is the story of two lovers dealing with alcoholic parents and abusive pasts. They must overcome their trials and heal before they are ready for a committed, lifelong relationship. When not writing or working toward her early childhood special education teaching credential, Lisa loves up on her 13 cats, indulges in amateur photography, reads and travels. She lives with her husband and baby (19 years old). Her three older children live in Salinas and Oregon. She has many, many grandcats, granddogs, and a grandrabbit. Family is everything to Lisa.
