Lorraine Pestell is the author of "A Life Singular", a 7-part series delving into social justice issues via an elaborate family saga wrapped in celebrity, music and travel. The novels delves into struggles and triumphs over mental illness by exploring the choices between right and wrong and their impact on ourselves and others.
A British Australian IT professional who has lived and worked all over the world, Lorraine began writing as therapy; a way of making sense of her own mental turmoil. The decision to publish her life's work came after friends urged her to write an autobiography. The first book was originally published in 2013, with six further books to follow.
Lorraine and her 14-year-old Belgian Malinois, Nikki, live in leafy solitude in Moggill, south-west of Brisbane. "A Life Singular" is her life's work, and she looks forward to completing the final book in the series by December 2021.
