Lydan Francis is a South African science fiction and fantasy writer with a passion for exploring the relationship between technology and nature. He takes great pride in crafting a diverse collection of worlds, settings and characters using his knowledge in coding and electromechanics with over two decades in ocean science and hands-on experience with dozens of marine species. Francis is also known to be a 3D artist and electronic music producer at times, and when not stuck in unnecessarily damp and difficult situations has a nasty habit of staring at the sky for long periods of time. He shares a quiet farm with his wife, some strange furry things, a few nonchalant tortoises, plenty of noisy birds and far too many frogs.
